SHORT DRAWSTRING SWIM SHORTS FOR MEN

There's a particular kind of freedom that comes with slipping into a pair of short shorts right before you hit the sand. The drawcord waist settles against your hips without fuss, the fabric skims rather than clings, and within seconds you've gone from front door to shoreline. This is the pair you reach for on the hottest days, when the plan is simply water, sun and not much else.

The adjustable drawcord waist means you get a hold that's actually yours, cinched exactly how you like it rather than guessed at by a size chart. Side pockets and a fastened back pocket mean keys, cards and a phone all have somewhere secure to ride out the day, so you're not leaving valuables balanced on a towel. The quick-dry build shrugs off a dunk in the ocean or pool, so you're not sitting around damp when it's time to head to lunch.

Cut short rather than long, these sit well above the knee for a trim, unrestricted fit that suits swimming laps as easily as it suits a walk along the boardwalk. They work just as hard through a beach holiday as they do for a backyard afternoon with the hose running and the grill going. Pack a pair for every warm-weather trip and they'll earn their spot in the bag again and again.

Good summer gear should disappear into the background of a good day, and that's exactly the job these shorts do. Grab a pair and let the rest of your plans be the complicated part.
